People’s College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre, Bhopal conducted continuing dental education program on “AIDS awareness, Blood Safety and Universal Precautions in Dentistry” on 18th December 2018. Dr. U.C. Yadav, Joint Director, Blood Safety and CST M.P. State AIDS control Society, Bhopal was the guest speaker. He helped the undergraduate, postgraduate Students and Faculties of the Institute understand AIDS scenario in Madhya Pradesh, India, AIDS control and role of Dentist. Dr. Darpan Bhargava, Associate Professor, Oral and maxillofacial surgery, PCDS & RC, Bhopal gave hands-on Universal, Precautions. The program lectures and hands-on were for 2 hours each and certificates were presented to all participants. The Undergraduate students also performed a skit on AIDS awareness. a group song by the undergraduate students. The organizing team were composed of Dr. Tarun Pratap Singh, Dr. Saman Khan, Dr. Aashna Dhingra and final year students. They conducted the program under the Guidance of Dr. Ajay Bhambal, Dean, PCDS & RC.
